In the month of October alone, we were contacted about 46 abandoned rabbits & we received 91 surrender requests. That brings our 2021 running totals to 211 abandoned rabbits and 846 surrender requests.
Take comfort and pride in knowing that our volunteers are working every day to save as many as we can. Limited resources for shelters and rescues are not the problem– abandoning, neglecting, and abusing animals is the problem.
