5. Supplies List/Set Up Photos
- If you are approved to move on to the next step, you will receive a supplies list email which details the required & recommended supplies that you will find listed here: /recommended-supplies/
- Required supplies: puppy play pen or xl dog crate, large/jumbo litter box, 10lbs of Timothy hay, Timothy pellets, water bowl, rabbit-safe litter substrate, rug to cover the floor of the enclosure, toys.
- Recommended supplies: heating pad, thermometer, 1 mL syringes, baby gas drops (Simethicone)
6. After you've gathered all of your supplies and received approval for your setup:
For single rabbit adoption:
- Matchmaking questionnaire: Adopters fill out a matchmaking form to help us figure out which of our current adoptable rabbits are a good fit for their family. After we send the matches, we will ask for you to choose 1-2 rabbits for us to either bring to your home or for you to meet at one of our foster homes on a scheduled adoption day. If all goes well, the bunny of your choice will stay or go home with you. If you are unhappy with the current matches, we will wait to schedule your adoption day until you are happy!
For bonding adoptions:
- Speed Dating (for bonding) at one of our local foster homes: We will introduce your rabbit to 3-4 foster rabbits that we believe are good candidates for bonding. You and your bunny will adopt whichever adoptable bunny shows the best signs of compatibility. In some instances, your rabbit may get along well with all and you may be able to choose.
