Lewis came into LIRRG foster care in horrendous shape. He was soaked in his own urine. His nails were long and curled. He was emaciated. He was battling a fierce respiratory infection. His eyes were swollen shut.
We did not think he would make it…But his incredibly loving foster family and the skilled staff at Catnip and Carrots Veterinary Hospital worked together to create a miracle!
Months after his rescue, Lewis is still fighting lingering effects of his respiratory infection. Other than that, he is doing so well! He’s truly a miracle bunny.
